This is an intensive program, useful and complete to start
speaking and understanding Italian language, while enjoying a
countryside vacation.
Four-hour classes every morning, Monday to Friday. Cultural excursions, tours or
activities on Tuesday, Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
You will be immersed in the Italian life, in company of friendly people of Aolmaia staff
and other Italian friends and collaborators.
- Grammar program:
- the logic structure of Italian sentence - phonetics: sounds, use of accent, alphabet
- definite and indefinite articles - qualifying adjectives and nouns
- simple and contracted prepositions - possessive adjectives and pronouns
- the verb: its forms, the indicative mood, present tense and present perfect, auxiliary
verbs use, common irregular verbs.
- Practice
- conversations, lectures, excursions, guided museum visits, participation in local events.

ADVANCED

The Intermediate and Advanced courses are full immersion programs for people
who already have some knowledge of Italian language and they will be adapted
to the skill and the demands of each student. You will have four-hour classes
in the mornigs from Monday to Friday, guided tours and cultural activities
on Tuesday, Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

- the subjunctive and conditional mood use
- the indefinite moods - the relative clause - impersonal "si"
- particles "ci" and "ne" - combined pronouns - others on request

- Dante, Boccaccio, Manzoni, Leopardi, contemporary authors
- Language of History
- notes about Etruscans, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance.
- Language of Culture
- Art: Giotto, Leonardo, De Chirico - Cinema: Fellini, Pasolini

- foods, wines, ingredients, recipes
- Practice
- lectures of historical documents, lecture of poems
and newspapers - movies, excursions, museum visits, participation at local events.
