Roman Mosaic |

| An
intensive course to learn the art of mosaic in an equipped laboratory. Classes
every day: art history, mosaic in contemporary furnishing, the materials,
how to project a mosaic, how to cut the tesserae, realisation of two mosaics.
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons you'll have guided excursions to art towns. Lodge in double-room of shared apartments in Montopoli town or in the countryside and home-cooked meals are included. The teacher is the architect Anna Maria Ciampolini, born in Prato in 1956. She studied in Rome and travelled in America for research about "organic architecture" and modern furnishing. With Cesare Ciurli, she had founded the Scuola di Arte Musiva in Rome and recently she has opened the Arti e Mestieri Laboratory in Montopoli, where she organizes her courses. |
