Stained Glass |
| A
forty-hour course to learn the art of stained glass in an equipped laboratory.
Classes every day: decorative glass in the modern furnishing, how to make
a project, the scale proof, cutting and grinding the glass, plumbing and
its graphic aspect, welding, mounting, transportation and tricks of the
trade. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons you'll have guided excursions to art towns. Lodge in double-room of shared apartments in Montopoli town or in the countryside and home-cooked meals are included. The teacher is Mr. Cesare Ciurli, born in Firenze 1937. His artistic spirit takes him to Rome where he had been involved in cultural projects about cinema, painting and furnishing. Then he discovers the best of his artistic expression and founds the Scuola d'Arte Arredare, where hundreds of students have learnt the art of stained glass. |
