Especially
dedicated to those who love Italian cuisine, wine and culture, this is
a touring "hands-on" cooking course by expert home-cooks and
one chef, teaching traditional Tuscan and Italian cuisine. Five cooking
classes by different cooks, in different kitchens, so to give you a wide
experience of cooking styles. And every day you will have a tour to visit
an art town or a special site of our region.

COOKING
and TOURING in
Tuscany
Six-night
program, from Saturday to Friday
- Saturday
- Arrival in the afternoon, from 5 pm onward. Free pick up at San Miniato
r.r.station. Check in. Homemade dinner.
- Sunday
- Cooking class by Emanuela on traditional Tuscan cuisine at her farm,
lunch with wine of her production. After lunch tour of San Gimignano,
the medieval "towers town". Dinner at your lodge.
- Monday
- Loredana's cooking class based on traditional Italian hand made pasta,
at her farm-house. Lunch. Afternoon tour in San Miniato, visit
of olive mill and olive oil tasting. Dinner at country restaurant.
- Tuesday
- Cooking class by Concetta at the Querceto farm, near Lari. After lunch,
visit of the Castello dei Vicari in Lari, a 14th Century Medieval
castle of the Medici family. Also we'll visit the Martelli's artisanal
pasta factory. Dinner at your lodge.
- Wednesday
- Morning tour to Volterra, the fascinating town where you'll
discover the Etruscan, Roman and Medieval history and art. Lunch at
typical restaurant in town. Evening at Michela's farm-house to enjoy
making and baking pizza and schiacciata in an antique wood-fire
brick-oven... and eating all together with good wine and Vin Santo.
- Thursday
- Morning cooking class by chef Bartolo based on historical recipes
of Italian Renaissance. Lunch at his restaurant. Afternoon visit of
an renowned winery, including wine tasting of their wines. Dinner
at your lodge.
- Friday
- Departures within the morning.

Flying note: we suggest to land at Pisa G.Galilei International
Airport. Please check convenient fares of RyanAir from London. Transfer
from airport to San Miniato on request, Euros 30 per person.
Train note: direct trains to San Miniato from Pisa airport, from
Pisa town and from Florence SMN station, almost every hour.
Driving note: from Florence or from Pisa, take the S.G.C freeway,
also called Fi-Pi-Li, and exit at San Miniato. Not far from the exit is
the San Miniato r.r.station, where we can meet you.
