The Festival Puccini 2008 will be a special edition characterised by one of the most important cultural events of the latest years: the inauguration of the New Great Open-Air Theatre, on the shore of the lake of Massaciuccoli in his beloved town of Torre del Lago. On 15th June 2008, the 54rd Puccini Festival welcomes thousands of spectators to its New Great Open-Air Theatre in Torre del Lago. In the background of a charming natural landscape, Torre del Lago lies in fact between the Lake of Massaciuccoli and the Tyrrheanian Sea, between Pisa and Viareggio, you can share nineteen extraordinary opera performances dedicated to the Italian composer from Lucca. From 15th June to 5th September you will be enraptured both by the beautiful of these places and you will meet the emotion arising from the music of Giacomo Puccini’s everlasting operas like Madama Butterfly, la Tosca, la Turandot and the Concert.

You choose the opera and the day, and by your tickets on line ( clicking here ) - Arrival: we will pick you up at Pisa airport or r.r.station, the day before the opera, settle you in a fascinating Historical Dwelling (see below ! ).
