A wine festival is well worth a trip. This is the invitation that the National Association of Wine Cities addresses to those many enthusiastic members of wine tourism groups who are attracted by the adventure of exploring the countryside of wine territories.
Every moment of the year is suitable to plan a trip to such special places and events: grapes festivals, harvest fairs, historical parades, wines presentations and markets, cuisine shows, wine tastings.

• May 27-June 3: "Wine Week" at the Enoteca Nazionale in Siena, the most important wine cellar of Tuscany, with the best collection of Italian wines.
• May 27: "Cantine aperte" an "open cellars day" to enter in many of the best wine cellars of Tuscany, offering sampling of their best products.
• May 26-27 - June 2-3: "Festa del Chianti di Montespertoli", presentation and wine tasting of DOC Colli Fiorentini in Montespertoli main square.
• May 26-27: "Pentecoste a Castellina", a wine festival in Castellina in Chianti where to taste all and the best of Chianti Classico production.
• June 2-3: "Toscanello d'Oro", in Pontassieve, guided walks and visits to wine producers and cellars, food tasting and wine tastings of the best DOC Chianti Rufina.
• June 2-3: Anteprima "vini della costa" in Lucca (only for wine operators)
• June 3: wine tasting in Massa Marittima with best wines of Tuscany coast
• June 9-10: "Radda nel bicchiere" a wine festival in Radda in Chianti with tasting of the best Chianti Classico wines.
